Indus Future Foundation (IFF) emerged as the result of some likeminded persons who are or have been associated with the national and international agencies. These agencies worked during super flood of 2010 in Pakistan. It was also felt that there were some capacity issues of the organization who were active during the emergency 2010 throughout Sindh.
The emergency issues of Sindh such as floods, continuous climate change, and law & order situation, socio-economic vulnerability have become the fate of Pakistan and particularly in Sindh and it are more pathetic. In such situation, Indus Future Foundation was formed on July 2011 and started functioning since August 2011.
Registration: IFF is a registered entity. It was registered under Society Act (1860) in December 29, 2011.
Mandate: IFF mandate includes the addressing various problem & it aims includes to work for the under privilege communities. After working for almost six months, it had been registered in December 2011.
Team: IFF is laid by full time Director and professional team with volunteers. The teams work a strategic unit which works as per strategic areas.
Area of Operation: IFF works throughout Pakistan particular Sindh province.
Vision: IFF envisioned a just and peaceful society where all human beings enjoy basic human rights without discrimination and live peacefully.
Mission: “Indus Future Foundation” facilitates social movement for people’s equal access to basic social services through delivery of civic education, quality formal and non formal education, disaster preparedness and grassroots economic empowerment.
